Flank Steak Results!
Three words… wow! wow! wow! The marinade was excellent! The veggies were excellent! And I never thought I’d describe a flank steak as “tender” but I did tonite!! Of course marinating for 24 hours could do that. 🙂
I’m calling this one a light medium at least in the middle slices. I quit trying to cook flank to medium rare because it doesn’t do anything to help with the tenderness. If a nothing else, well done makes a decent edible flank. This steak was fairly flat with a slight thickness in the middle. Normally they tend to be thick on one end and thin on the other. With the latter, it’s easier to get one side at medium rare.
My only concern after that first bite was that I would try to eat the whole thing!
