Marinade All Day – With Recipe!
Well, not exactly a typo. It took me all day to gather the ingredients for the marinade. Now that the shopping phase is over, the marinating has just begun. I spent some extra time finding the best ingredients that I could! The quality in simple items, red wine vinegar for example, can vary greatly. So I guess I won’t be having that delicious flank steak tonite but it will be worth the wait. 🙁
For those who have been to my parties, you know it as the world-famous marinade that makes even the largest flank steak totally disappear before one can even make a mixed drink (luckily I had a second steak on standby!).

And the recipe for the adventurous:
- 1/3 cup of olive oil
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 1/3 cup of soy sauce
- 2 cloves of minced garlic
- 2 Tbs of red wine vinegar
- 1/2 tsp of ground black pepper
For flank steak, I cut slight marks in a crossing pattern both front and back to let the marinade get in. Marinate for at least six hours.
